Brock Update

Well, we have finally heard from Brock. He has just finished out his stay at Fort Sill, OK, and is now on his way to Fort Benning, GA, where he will do his airborne training for a couple of weeks. After that he will be able to come home for a few days and then he will be stationed at Fort Richardson in Alaska---BRRRRRRRRR!!

He sounded excited about his adventures. He called me the other night as they were delayed in Atlanta and they had a 48 hour layover. He said that all of his other buddies were out drinking and he was there at the hotel calling home. Pretty sad. I told him I was proud that he was making good decisions but he said that he sees how those guys are totally out of control over themselves while they are drunk and states that he doesn't want to be like that. I am grateful for that.

Anyway, I guess that about does it. We are all doing well here. The kids are doing great with their grades--surprisingly. Let's hope it keeps up. I am grateful we are off to a good start.
