Carvin' a Mean Pumpkin

The girls enjoyed carving an awesome PUMPKIN. Is it weird to anyone else that once a year we send our kids out to beg for candy from strangers? I have always found that strange. When we lived in TX, we would take the kids to the neighborhood with HUGE homes and just let them Trick or Treat to their hearts' content. This year, I think they just want to go around causing HAVOC and chasing boy ghosts!!
