We enjoyed many activities on Day 2 of the family reunion. Oh, the fun we had. Some of us let it all hang out...
There were many games to play...

Relaxation, too...

Some of us made our own rules....

Some of us got really dirty...

Some of us got really dirty...
We ate and visited...Enjoyed each other...
Some of us enjoyed sticking things into the fire...
Brothers shared stories...
There were cutthroat competitions. Uncle against nephew...
Cousins against cousins...

The girls did "girly" things...

We survived the brutal wind (that never stopped blowing)...

Kids were sometimes grumpy (not too bad though)...
We went on a scavenger hunt. Older cousins helped younger cousins...

Big payout for the scavenger hunt...

Some of us camped in luxury (cuddling on mom's lap)...
Oh, the accomodations (thanks, Ryan, you're a lifesaver)...

Father and sons bonded...

Father and sons bonded...

Younger cousins whipped the older cousins in tug-o-war...
Girl power!!!

Riding quads...

Riding quads...Some of us enjoyed a potato sack race...
Some of us were so FAST that we could whip everyone and turn around and mock the losers the last 5 yards...(I swear Colby is part kangaroo)
There were fierce three-legged races with photo finishes. Note poor little Tucker being dragged across the finish line...
Even Grandma got into the action with her third leg...
The good ol' stick pull pitted cousin against cousin...
Son against mother...
Brother against brother...
The competition was fierce...
Father against son...(this is the same son that tried to whip his mother a few pictures back. I think his parents showed him who rules the roost)

There was jump rope...
The elementary school champion still has it after all these years--go baby!!
Look at that form. Admire that grace.

We enjoyed the smoke (er, I mean campfire warmth) on the windy nights...

We enjoyed each other, we laughed, we played, we ate, we chapped, we burned, and some of us cut ourselves with a pocketknife and really should have gone to the emergency room. But we emerged the victor and survived the windy hell and the smoke. We packed up our camp, gave our hugs, said our goodbyes, but vowed to come together again, through thick and thin, through rich and poor, in sickness and in health (hopefully with new hips) to once again reunite in two years!!

Awesome pictures. And I don't even have to be cold, wind blown or smoky to enjoy them.
