Well, we stayed logged in to Brock (on the webcam) all throughout the night and when Santa Claus came in the middle of the night, he still didn't see Brock in his bed. There were footsteps all throughout the house all night long going up and down the stairs and it wasn't Santa Claus. It was two little children who were so excited for Christmas they couldn't even sleep.
So
we woke up on Christmas morning at 5:00
a.m. and looked at the computer and Brock still wasn't home from his Christmas Eve Party (granted, he is two hours behind us). Notice the computer monitor to the right in this photo. You can see Brock's empty bed. So we decided to go ahead and open up the presents without him. After the first present was open, he showed up. He had no presents to open so he just sat there and watched us as we opened ours. He will have to call us back when he gets his box and open his in front of us.
We had a great Christmas and although Brock couldn't be here, at least we were able to share this day with him through the computer. I love technology. I am so proud of him and wished that he was home but know that he is doing a great service for our country.
