Our Family

Wyatt and I have been married for 19 years and have five children. Our oldest, Brock (18), is now in the Army stationed in Alaska. He came home on his 18th birthday and told us that he wanted to join the Army. Talk about a mom's heart being ripped out. It wouldn't be so bad if we were having worldwide peace. He seems to be enjoying it. He served his basic training in OK and then went on to Airborne in Georgia. He was invited to try out for Rangers but he decided not to.

Kelli (17), is our beautiful outgoing daughter. She loves friends and will do almost anything to be with them. She has finally figured out school and how easy it is just to put forth a little effort and it sure pays off in the end. She is excited to get a job and get a car...someday. For now, she seems content to just drive the family's car.

Rhett (15), enjoys the computer and playing video games. He also likes to ride and jump his bike and do tricks. He enjoys teasing his sisters the most. Poor thing, now that Brock is gone, he has to spend the majority of his time with a bunch of girls!!

Kodi (13), is our shy one. She loves her friends but has a hard time stepping out there and making new ones. She enjoys playing the piano and flute. She loves shopping and fixing on her hair. She also is a great student and is in honors classes.

Gray (11), is very outgoing. She enjoys making all kinds of friends. She enjoys talking with friends especially during class. She struggles with school but she has a good teacher that keeps her on track. She definitely speaks her mind whenever she wants. She plays the trumpet and is working on the piano.

Anyway, that's us in a "rose-colored" nutshell. Life is hard. Having kids is hard. I wish it were all roses but we struggle, who doesn't?
