Today, we started out going to Globe, but a few minutes from the house, Wyatt decided that he needed to go get some metal for a project he is working on. Globe scrapped. We had just left the house and the kids said they were hungry. Quick stop to Burger King for breakfast and a must have Diet Coke. 
We then decided to check out the riparian preserve by the Greenfield Library. We took some time to walk around the trails and look at the birds. 
We went to downtown Tempe to get the metal and then stopped off at Tempe Beach Park to check out what was going on there. It seems that we had just missed out on a Walk for Heart thing.
We walked around a little there and then got a wild hair to ride the light rail--again!! Gray had never been on it so we decided to ride it to downtown Phoenix. 
We stopped off at Mi Amigos restaurant for lunch. Brock called during lunch to let us know that he has been making the last minute preparations to deploy tomorrow. We are so sad and don't quite know how to say goodbye. Here's Wyatt trying to share a bonding moment with Rhett. Rhett hardly put that stupid game down. 
More game playing while life is passing right by him...

I sure am impressed by how much you guys do as a family. The biggest thing we all do together is. . .well. . .nothing. Maybe we could count cleaning the house. . .Anyway, we'll be praying for Brock. Love you all.
