We got in the car and headed out to Utah about 7:30 a.m. We had to run a few errands and then around 9:00 a.m. we were finally on our way. We headed outside the city limits when we came upon some Joshua Trees that looked so cool so I suggested that the kids get out for a picture. They were happy (well, some of them) at this time and gladly got out for a picture.
We had just passed through Kingman and headed toward Hoover Dam when we came upon this view that I just couldn't pass up.
The kids didn't want to stop, but I got them to get out anyway. They enjoyed looking over the edge long enough for me to snap a picture and then they wanted to get going.
Sin City Baby!! We traveled by way of Las Vegas. We never got a good view of the strip but the kids enjoyed looking over that way. They didn't want to stop to get a closer look and that was okay with me. The roads were clear all the way, although we started seeing snow on the side of the road just outside St. George. It was a long trip but we finally made it about 8:30 p.m.
